As part of the forthcoming release of issue 11, Der Greif together with Jason Fulford (guest editor of the edition) and Jörg Koopmann (photographer, curator Lothringer13) invite 5 Munich artists to Lothringer 13 for a variety show in 8 acts. Via projectors, in discussions and in visual exchange, the participants negotiate various possibilities of how pictures can be read, seen and heard in context.

There will be a lot to see, including a “Travel Game”, a “One Word Story”, “Color Memory”, as well as the exciting piece “Death in the Darkroom”.

Jason Fulford is a welcome guest at Lothringer 13, most recently as part of the group show “Echo of Untouched Matter” , He is an American artist, photographer and publisher of J & L Books, and lives in Brooklyn, New York City. The most important form of his photographic work is the book.
The Greif is an organization for contemporary photography based in Munich. The Greif deals with topics that affect image production, distribution and presentation and, accordingly, our perception of photographic images – on screens, in print as well as in exhibitions.
